Had a great time at this bar! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Big shoutout to Jonny, the bartender—super professional, friendly, and really knows his craft. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back.

Tried the artichoke dip and fries - so good! The dip comes with grilled garlic toast and it was soft enough it didn’t hurt your teeth but hard enough to make an effective scoop. I had the pineapple mojito. It was so good I got a second, when I normally try different drinks. The bar is super cool looking. Service was fast and friendly. We went in late on Sunday night. It wasn’t busy, but not empty either. Nice background music; wasn’t too loud. Decent enough you could have a regular conversation and not have to raise your voice.

Sugar Hill is the secret sugar of Portland. Located in the Laurenhurst district. Tuesday’s Happy Hour, called the "Pre Inflation," is a must. 1 dollar oysters. 3 cheeseburgers. 3 fries, 3 ice cold Miller High Life, and 3 tequila shots. It has a perfect Vibe too. He has a perfect playlist of the 1990s. The atmosphere is one of couples and people enjoying a simple Tuesday life. As the sun goes down, the palm tree lights up the room.I arrived way to early thinking there would be a line for this deal and was across the street at The service is where it is at. Jordan and Quinn are on point. Jordan makes sure everything comes out on point. Oysters for 1.00 are fresh. When asked for some horseradish sauces, top-shelf Beavers CHILLED came out. I highly recommend it. Tuesdays are when the action is. I never made it to the speakeasy or outside part, as I feel they are separate reviews that I will do in the future. Highly recommended.

Always a great time in this eclectic vintage inspired bar. Great cheeseburgers and the oysters are to die for! Fun cocktails and the vibe is vvv chill. Recommended!!

Love it here! The artichoke dip is absolutely delicious and it's so nice to finally find a place that serves it with bread instead of chips. The atmosphere and music was also so groovy and fun. Can't wait to come back here.

I was so excited to hear of a 70s themed bar near my neighborhood, especially since I'm a bell-bottoms wearing vintage collector. My friends had already scoped out the bar during opening week & told me that I would be disappointed, so I hesitated to go. Just last night, I ended up dropping in on a slow Sunday evening with my out-of-town guests. We loved the color scheme, the bar was beautiful, tho the decorations were minimal. We noticed there were people ordering takeout, so we ordered snacks for the table & it was better than bar food. The staff was super sweet & we got a sneak peek of the secret room, which is only open on weekends or for private events. I fell in love when I saw the secret room - you'll have to see it for yourself. This might just be my new chill spot.

Fun atmosphere, great drinks and an amazing happy hour that goes until 7 pm!

I came here for the first time with a friend to catch up, and it was so pretty! The seating is comfortable, the drinks were beautiful, and our food was great - we got oysters and fries to share. The bar wasn't too busy while we were there, so we were able to take our time, and the servers were really attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed.
